Hello,

I am just wondering if anyone has a policy that allows ipods in the
classroom? Most ministries do not allow this from what I have seen.

Since Christmas many of our kids have started bringing their ipod
touch/epads to class. At first I was really against this, but feel
like I have now found a way to make it work as we are in a technology
driven generation. The kids have a bible app on their electronic
device and are only allowed to get it out during our lesson time when
they are reading scriptures in class. I want to adopt a policy for
the kids and parents so they understand when this is allowed and when
it is not.

If you have a policy I would love to see it!

Thanks and God bless!
Stephanie

I allow phones & iPods in my upper elementary classes... I tell them they can use their Bible apps & we even did a google search once ( with my supervision) However, the sound goes to vibrate & the phone or iPod goes into a pocket or purse when not being used for the allowed purposes. I LOVE helping them learn & practice appropriate technology manners in our classes. S for policies, technology use would come under the standard classroom "cooperation policy" so no specific policy is needed.

Hope that helps!
