wow, having our general membership meeting then is really gonna blow. We've been talking for the last month about road tripping to that maker faire. It's very likely that we have at least 3 board members, if not more, who would be planning to be away for that event.
Two questions, 1. What's involved in changing the date, and , 2. , I move that we do so.

Maybe it will be like the recent quarterly membership meetings, where you find out you wasted your time showing up because you then discover that it has been cancelled without any announcement.

Maker faire dates were only posted at the start of the year. We posted our board meeting well before that.
We have updated the dates, and expect to see an email announcement about the new dates in the next few days.
