Sewing machines?

So, I bought a boat.

Which means I can look forward to a future of boat projects.

One which I may be considering is creating a stack pack - a sort of sail cover that integrates with the lazy jacks to make for easy dowsing of the sail.

And that means sewing large pieces of canvas.

And I, of course, don't have a sewing machine.

To date, most of what I've done in the Hack Factory has been woodworking of one sort or another. I'm not familiar with everything that is available in other areas.

Does the Hack Factory have a sewing machine?

I dropped a few off a while back. Not sure if they would be heavy duty enough for canvas though.

This is a someday, maybe, discussion. Not an immediate need.

I won't be bending the sails until spring, and I won't be making decisions about what I need to change until after I've sailed it for a bit.
