This is obviously not our model, and I'm not saying it should be, but I think it's a very interesting approach, basically a pay for space model, they also mention loaning of tools in exchange for reduced rent or membership fees.

Definitely an interesting space organization concept. It wouldn't
directly translate into our environment, but "pay-for-space" is
something we may have to start considering for storage space, at
least.
