CLL Board Members,

Thank you for a great first Board of Directors meeting.  I am very excited about the upcoming year.  Below are the current Board Positions we voted on last night.  Positions in orange still need to be approved.  

As we discussed, our next meeting will be Monday December 14th at 7pm.  We will hold this meeting at Round Table Pizza on Stevens Creek Blvd.  Our future meetings will be the 2nd Monday of each month.

Hello, team,

We will be hosting our first in-person verification /
registration day on Saturday.  We will be at Wilson Park from 10:00-11:30 and Kennedy Lower from 12:00 – 1:30.   I hope you can attend either session (or both, ideally).

I can get to Wilson early to set up.  But, can someone get to Kennedy before Noon to set up there, in case we don’t get to Kennedy from Wilson before noon?  I don’t want to be setting up when parents arrive, and there is a chance we won’t get cleaned up at Wilson in time to set up at Kennedy.  Set-up includes a table and some chairs.  Also, if you can bring a personal hotspot or iPad with a data plan for parents to  register at Kennedy, that would be great.  I believe Hanyen is
bringing one, as well, but it will be helpful to have more than one.  We always have a handful of parents who want to register when they show up.

Hanyen will print out the pre-filled Release forms, so they
are ready for parents when they arrive.  Don, can you print out a few lists of our currently registered players (as of Saturday morning)?  I will bring all of the other paperwork
necessary for registration (volunteer forms, code of conduct, waiver/school enrollment forms, and volunteer information), as well as pens and paperclips.  We will need a copy of the boundary map, list of approved documents for residency and age verification, and a list of upcoming dates (tryouts, additional in-person dates).  Can someone take responsibility for bringing these items to Wilson Park and Kennedy?

We will have 2-3 of us at the table helping to verify age
and residency and collecting paperwork and volunteer deposits.   We need others available to answer questions
and to get parents to commit to managing and coaching teams.  We also should work hard to get folks to commit to helping with the Snack Shacks.

I will send an email tonight to all of our current registrants and our former-TC community to a) remind everyone about Saturday and b) encourage those who haven’t already done so to register before they show up on Saturday.   If someone can send the same email to the former-CN folks, that would be great. I will copy this group on my outgoing email, and you can use the same one (if you want). I will address the volunteer deposit in my email, by the way.  If there are other issues that have bubbled up from the community that we should address, please let me know, and I’d be happy to address them (to the extent I can).
