TCIA Update: November 2019

Take a look at the newly added AML-Cytomorphology_LMU dataset! It contains 18,365 expert-labeled single-cell images taken from peripheral blood smears of 100 patients diagnosed with AML, as well as 100 patients without signs of hematological malignancy: https://doi.org/10.7937/tcia.2019.36f5o9ld

We will now be releasing CPTAC histopathology imaging on a monthly basis! A new batch was released on October 31 consisting of 76 slides from 25 total patients in the CM (skin), GBM (brain), and SAR (soft tissue) cohorts. https://wiki.cancerimagingarchive.net/display/Public/CPTAC+Imaging+Proteomics

Thinking about publishing a dataset on TCIA? Check out https:// wiki.cancerimagingarchive.net/display/Public/Submission+and+De-identification+Overview for a thorough overview of our submission processes.

New data! Post-NAT-BRCA contains resections in patients with residual invasive breast cancer following neoadjuvent therapy. It includes clinical features, annotations of tumor cellularity & cell types, plus image labels (malignant, healthy, lymphocyte): https://doi.org/10.7937/TCIA.2019.4YIBTJNO

You can also import your TCIA data citations/DOIs to your ORCiD. Create an account at https://orcid.org if you haven't already, and then use the instructions at https://support.orcid.org/hc/en-us/articles/360006973653-Add-works-by-direct-import-from-other-systems…to link your ORCiD profile to @Datacite.

Per recommendations in https://nature.com/articles/d41586-019-01715-4…we are now asking submitters to provide their ORCiDs when sharing data on TCIA to help ensure they are credited for its re-use. https://twitter.com/TCIA_News/ status/1187112868329619456

Members from our team attended this week's CPTAC Scientific Symposium (https://events.cancer.gov/cssi/occpr) to present a poster & live demo. TCIA supports CPTAC's image sharing needs to enable cutting edge research that combines imaging, proteomics, and genomics data. https://twitter.com/TCIA_News/ status/1185291483986817030

We are humbled to once again have a strong presence at this year's @RSNA Annual Meeting. You can view a list of TCIA-initiated activities as well as scientific presentations based on our datasets at https://wiki.cancerimagingarchive.net/ display/Public/TCIA+Sessions+at+RSNA
