2017 Message to Our Members

Dear TCFA CA Members, 

As we approach to the end of rainy season in the bay area,  we'd like to take this opportunity make a few announcements and share our 2017 initiatives with all of you. For those who are new to TCFA CA chapter, we are a professional association for Chinese financial industry participants, academic students and scholars. We promote professional progress, education and career development for members, and foster ideas and business opportunities among our members and with other organizations or associations in the area of finance, investment and technology. 

Current CA Chapter leader Team include: 

Chair and Co-Chair: Yuying Gao, Cindy Wang

Advisory Board: Hong Zhou, William, Rebecca Gao

 

To better serve our members, now we are recruiting for the following key members. If you are interesting in contributing to the community, please feel free to reach out to Yuying or Cindy in their gmail. 

Program Managers: Dan Luo, TBA (recruiting 1 position)

Event Managers: Kelly, TBA (recruiting 2 positions)

 

2017 Key Initiatives:

-          We will have quarterly speaker series event, jointly hosted with a few Silicon Valley associations and organizations.

-          We will also host member-initiated, business-driven events at the request of members throughout the year. We welcome our members to submit your ideas to leadership team and to discuss with core members.

-          We will build stronger connection with TCFA headquarter in New York and have our members more involved with national level events.

-          social networking among members including hiking, dining, parenting tips, books reading clubs and ect.

Our first speaker event will be held this Saturday in Mountain View:Global Macro Trends and Technology Investment Outlook in 2017 and Beyond.
