On Saturday January 24th there was an incident at The Gardens Ice House involving an employee of the Ice Breakers Cafe and a Tri-City mother. The Tri-City mother alleges the employee made an inappropriate and unwanted advance. The police where called and a formal police report was filed. On Monday February 9th, The Gardens met with the owner of the cafe and the accused employee, stipulating that he is to no longer have any contact with patrons of the rink.
The Tri-City Eagles Hockey Association is an independent organization from The Gardens Ice House. We are pleased that they have been proactive with this situation and will continue to work with them to insure the safety of our members.
