Big Kahuna Kup is in Galveston Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Free fun race from Cat Alley to East Beach. Usually 10-15 boats show up.

The BKK will be held on Saturday August 31,2019. This will allow Sunday & Monday for Labor Day celebration. Please plan to arrive early on Saturday. The Holiday visitors get to the island about noon.
Registration starts at Tipsy Turtle Sea Side Bar & Grill beach at 0900 hours.
Start time 12 Noonish
The Starting line is at the Tipsy Turtle Sea Side Bar & Grill 11745 Fm 3005, Galveston, TX 77554. They have trailer access to the beach and plenty of parking, near by, very short walking distance to the beach. There will be a an award ceremony for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers of each fleet at the Tipsy Turtle that early evening.

The Finish line is at East Beach, the non paying area (a map will be available to review at the Tipsy Turtle registration table). Parking for trailering back is available. I recommend sailing back. Traffic on the Sea Wall will be difficult during the Holiday weekend.

Those that have sailed in the BKK before know that there is no entry fee.
