Looks like our entire spring line up of events have been affected by the Covid 19 shutdown. Please see the note below from Travis.

Hello Sailors,

I hate to send this E-mail but it’s clear that LCYC is not going to allow us to have Longneck Regatta this month as planned.

Please spread the word to those I’ve missed on this list. I’ll post a notice on Facebook as well.

As a group we can look at the calendar and decide if we want to try and re-schedule for later in the year.

We can also decide as a group if we would like to put on an “unofficial” one day “practice regatta” as we just did this past Saturday.

With 14 boats on the water and four races held we had a pretty successful turn out.

I’m happy to coordinate this again in May if you all would like another opportunity to race. Just as last weekend, we need to be sure to use the words “unofficial” and “practice” so not to confuse anyone at LCYC that we are having a club sponsored event.

Please give me some feedback and know that LCYC is open and camping is available but as of now Jacobs Creek Park is still closed.
