Join Professor Jane Ohlmeyer, Trinity’s Vice Provost for Global Relations, and Trinity College Dublin alumni & friends from the Greater Seattle Area at a reception to mark the launch of the Trinity Alumni Pacific Northwest Chapter.

Jane Ohlmeyer is the Erasmus Smith’s Professor of Modern History at Trinity College Dublin. She has also taught at the UCSB, Yale and the University of Aberdeen. A passionate teacher and an internationally established scholar of early modern Irish history, she was the founding Head of the School of Histories and Humanities and a driving force behind the development of the Trinity Long Room Hub and the 1641 Depositions Project. In September 2011, Prof Ohlmeyer was appointed Vice-Provost for Global Relations with responsibility for strengthening Trinity’s international strategies and external relationships, both national and international, to effectively deliver the College’s core mission in education and research.
