06/16 - The Other Bloomsday: Penelope Reading

In this, our sixteenth year, we conclude Ulysses! We will present a staged reading of Chapter 18, “Penelope” aka Molly Bloom’s Soliloquy, adapted from the 1922 edition of James Joyce's Ulysses, on 3pm on Sunday, June 16th, 2013, at The Elliott Bay Book Company, 1521 Tenth Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122.

This event is directed by our very own George Reilly, so if you’re free definitely go check it out! As usual, the more the merrier.

07/09 - Irish Heritage Night at the Mariners

Join the Seattle Mariners for Irish Heritage Night on Tuesday, July 9th! Special discounted group seating has been reserved and is available for you to purchase online. Receive a FREE Seattle Mariners Irish Heritage Night Cap only when you purchase through this special offer!

This year they are playing the Boston Red Sox, I can’t think of a more Irish team in the MLB. We’ll be meeting at 6pm in the Pyramid Beer Garden across the road from Safeco Field. Buy your tickets online at http://mariners.com/irish. If you get the View tickets we’ll be able to find a place to sit together even if the seats don’t quite match up. Bring Friends, Family, and anyone else you can think of!

Stay tuned for our next announcement, we’re planning some social get-togethers and possibly reoccurring trivia nights. There will also be an AGM later in the year.

We’re trying to come up with varying events that appeal to the group and we want to hear your opinion. So if you have any suggestions or ideas of events to organize or participate in, or would like to see events in other locations (Eastside, Peninsula, …) send us an email at tcdalu...@gmail.com.
