I am frequently asked what is the minimum universities need to provide colleges to facilitate reverse transfer. I have provided the following to the THECB/UEAC, TRTI meetings, and the group in Illinois processing Texas information. If I am leaving something out, let me know so I can add it to the list.
Ability to control the selection process including: a) specify credit hours for residence requirement, b) specify total combined university and college credit hours, c) help in connecting college transcripts with university transcripts (beyond last 4 digits of SSAN and date of birth), ability to select when transcripts are physically sent, ability to identify transcripts being sent for reverse transfer consideration from the normal traffic, ability to specify only core complete students when desired, ability to select/deselect students with an associate (careful – a student may qualify for the associate degree at multiple colleges), up to date student contact information to notify them of degree selection.
