This Week in the TCC Garden

[TCC Community Garden Thurgoona]

Hi Everyone,

Last Friday the group hosted vistors from Aged concern who planted
seeds together in the garden. Sue reports that it was a great day.
Jim put together the edges of the square root garden so everything is
shaping up well in the back yard.

It sounds like quite a few exhibitors are coming along on Friday
October 8th for our Garden Opening. Tickets are still available for
our Spring Gathering, here's the flier:

This coming Friday (September 24th 9-11am) We'll work on the third
vege bed across from the worm farm. Plus we can plant some seeds to
fill the gaps of produce that is ready to eat. We can also weed the
garden and maybe discuss weed management out there.

On an administration note the Thurgoona community centre has decided
we'll keep the garden petty cash and receipts in a special area that
will be opened on Fridays to Authorise payments necessary and pay
small money owing. We'll also agree on Fridays what we'll spend money
on next as a group.

Hi Everyone,

Friday 24th Sept - We created the last new vege garden. putting the
remaining square pavers in the rectangle shape, and moving some of the
soil to pile up. Some beans were planted, and gardens were
weeded. Pam brought along some great bits and pieces for the sensory
garden. The garden was filled with people and the energy levels were
high.

This coming Friday (Friday October 1st) We'll be tidying the garden
up for the Opening event held on the 8th.
