Just an FYI and an invite for any that would want to attend the public meeting on the proposed reconfiguration of MLK from north of St. Joseph to Ionia from a 6 lane boulevard to a 5 lane roadway with a pathway on the east side of the reconfigured road.

I plan to attend. This is great news. Hopefully other M- roads in the city will also get reconfigured and finally stop being NASCAR race training grounds.

I note that this is going to be an open house, so I don’t think you have to be there at 4 o’clock, but can go anytime between four and six and learn more about the project and talk to the staff and Consultants.

I plan to attend. This is my neighborhood, and it appears that some of my neighbors are opposed to (their perception of) the city’s plan: they seem to think it would take away green space or something like that.
