August 9 meeting & secure bike parking ribbon cutting

Guys,
Just up the River Trail, LCC President Steve Robinson is doing a 4:45 ribbon cutting for secure bike parking in the Gannon Ramp. Followed by his usual, bi-monthly Pedal With The Prez ride at 5:30. He usually sticks to the River Trail, then buys ice cream in Old Town for all riders!
Anyone else want to attend before our TCBA meeting?

I’ll be attending this ribbon-cutting from the start of it.
I plan on riding with the group until the end so not sure if I’ll be able to make much of the Advocacy meeting after that.

You’re invited to join the college for the unveiling of our new, secure bicycle storage area! The covered bike parking area will include racks and locks, and is designed specifically for LCC students and employees.
This new amenity will be located just outside the Northwest Corner of the Gannon Parking Ramp. It will be secured and only accessible with your StarCard.
We hope it provides peace of mind for those interested in and able to pursue biking for a healthier, more affordable, environmentally conscious commute.
The unveiling will begin at 4:45 p.m. on Aug. 9 with light refreshments and bottled water. The Pedal with the Prez ride will begin shortly following the ribbon-cutting ceremony at approximately 5:30 p.m.
