Speakers Sheila Contreras, Heidi Frei, and Jana Nicol are part of the group that spoke against the city's proposal to modify MLK boulevard. We'll find out what has happened so far and what is likely to happen next..
The three speakers are Westside residents of long term. Contreras teaches at MSU; Frei has 25 years experience as a natural resources professional with EGLE, with a concentration in urban forests;
Nicol works for MDOT in the Statewide Planning Section.
We meet on second Fridays -- May 10th-- from noon to 1pm, in the conference room of the MEC building, at 602 W Ionia. A light lunch buffet is available and everyone is welcome..
