Amish buggies getting hit more frequently

Over the years that we’ve been fighting MDOT about their dangerous Michigan left turn/indirect left turn conversions on so many country roads up north I have mentioned the Amish as some of the non-motorists who are now cut off east and west across US 127. This report makes it clear that fatal crashes with Amish buggies in Michigan are on the rise and something for us to consider more seriously as advocates.
