Ontario Housing Bill will make homes more polluting and less affordable - please make a call

Hi everyone, 

We're collectively doing what we can to try to stop a provincial Housing Bill that would dismantle Toronto's Green Standard and another 15 Ontario cities' Green Development Standards which make new homes less polluting, more resilient to extreme weather, and more affordable to heat and cool.  

This is the fourth attack on green building policies in four years and will prevent municipalities from addressing their top polluting sector. The new bill also removes the requirement for municipalities to include climate goals and actions in their Official Plans. 


We need to push back and put pressure on the Conservatives in order to prevent the bill from passing as is.
