Begin forwarded message:From: Lella Blumer <comm...@theenergymix.com>Subject: Climate Solutions News Dashboard is Live!Date: May 6, 2026 at 8:24:43 AM EDTTo: undisclosed-recipients:;Hello once again! We reached out a short while ago to let you know The Energy Mix was developing this innovative resource in partnership with the Green Municipal Fund (GMF) of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. As a reminder, our intent is to build this into a standard, trusted resource for publishers and broadcasters that are interested in sustainability and innovation in municipalities across the country, but might be struggling with tight budgets and competing news priorities. To that end:
Everything on the site is available free, either as news for republication or as a reference point for your own reporting.
The site combines our independent news with releases and resources from GMF. The two streams are clearly differentiated so that you always know which form of content you’re looking at.This is an open invitation for you to visit the site, engage with the content, and make use of it freely. As the dashboard is in its pilot phase:
- Please let us know what you think—we're looking for your feedback on the news stories, resources, format, accessibility, and anything else that comes to mind as you engage with the site, so that we can make it as helpful as possible. You can reach us at comm...@theenergymix.com or just reply to this message.
- Please share with and/or let us know of any news outlets that might be interested in this resource—independent or co-op news outlets anywhere in Canada, particularly in small, rural communities, that could make good use of a steady stream of news on local climate solutions that wouldn’t necessarily pop up in routine news scans.
We're very much looking forward to hearing from you!All the best,Lella, on behalf of The Energy Mix team
