Hi folks,

Coming to your inboxes with a quick request/reminder to sign on to the letter standing up against new pipelines—to the West Coast, or anywhere in so-called Canada.

As we flagged at the town hall earlier this week, this was originally released by Environmental Defence and other organizations last November in response to the Alberta-Canada Memorandum of Understanding. Many of you signed on at the time, or added your support later.

The letter has now been updated to emphasize that there is no good route for a pipeline, and to express solidarity across the country against the imposition of any new oil and gas projects. The updated version is attached.

This will be relaunched at a joint press conference in Ottawa, next Tuesday, June 9th, with the new list of signatories, and we'd like to show as much cross-country support as possible.
