Hello all,

A reminder that if you haven't gotten your tickets yet, now is the time to secure your spot at Toronto's first community-run Pedestrian Summit!

Just in the past few days, Toronto and East York Community Council approved a 9-week pedestrianization of Church Street, and the City has released plans for Ookwemin Minising with a car-free street.

Join Toronto's top sustainable mobility activists at this Sunday's Pedestrian Summit. Together, we can make Toronto a much better place for all pedestrians.

Sunday's event will feature a dinnertime panel with some of top sustainable mobility thinkers and activists in the City:
• Shawn Micallef, Columnist with the Toronto Star and author of Stroll
• Lanrick Bennett Jr., Urbanist-in-Residence at the UofT School of Cities
• Daniella Levy-Pinto, Accessibility advocate with Walk Toronto
• Dylan Reid, Editor of Spacing Magazine
• Jess Spieker, Advocate with Friends and Families for Safe Streets

The event, sponsored by The Biking Lawyer, includes activists and organizers from:
• 8 80 Cities
• CycleTO
• Friends and Families for Safe Streets
• Green Neighbours Network
• Jane's Walk Toronto
• The Laneway Project
• More Neighbours Toronto
• Strong Towns Toronto
• Toronto Climate Action Network
• Toronto Environmental Alliance
