Buenas,
He intentado mandar un mensaje previo antes de solicitar la admisión
pero me lo ha devuelto, así que me presento aqui:
Soy Oscar Calvo, de Madrid. Quizás algunos me conoceréis, estuve hace
un tiempo involucrado en el Movimiento Zeitgeist como Axtar. Y dejé de
estarlo por que necesitaba el tiempo que dedicaba al movimiento para
centrarme más en percibir ingresos. Llevo aprox. dos años y medio
desempleado, que no parado, pues durante éste tiempo he intentado
diversas aventuras empresariales.
Y siguiendo estas tentativas he vuelto a mis origenes :D. Hace un par
de semanas pasé por la pagina del movimiento a ver cómo habían (o
habíais) evolucionado y encontré un enlace a OSE. Conocí Ose en sus
inicios hace casi ya dos años y enseguida me entusiasmé con los
progresos que han realizado. Fui revisando primero la web, luego la
wiki, e inevitablemente llegué a la idea de qué esa podría ser una
buena posibilidad para emprender.
Estaba preparando el formulario de contacto, que es cojonudamente
largo y arduo de desarrollar, y además en inglés que no ando muy fino,
cuando revisando más documentación he dado con la OSE-Europe y a poco
más, a vosotros.
He estado revisando el grupo y según parece estáis en fase de buscar
la "tierra prometida". Tengo un par de ideas al respecto, cómo por
ejemplo esta web y especialmente éste post

Además tengo un par de amigos que quizás puedan echar una mano en éste
sentido (un amigo abogado que se dedica expresamente a tegimanejes
legales de tierras por toda españa).
Bueno, si pudierais me gustaría, primero solicitar mi ingreso en el
grupo y de ser así, que alguien fuera tan amable de hacerme un resumen
(bien escrito bien skype o Teamspeak) de en que punto estamos.
Os dejo las preguntas contestadas que tenía del formulario de contacto
de OSE para que me conozcais un poco mejor (no sé si terminarlo ya o
que...) Podeis hablar con Ivan Garcia, que es el que he visto moverse
por el grupo que conocía más de antes, de echo le voy a mandar ahora
un correo. Ah, y también estuve un par de meses en Millares, con
Jesús, intentando sacar el proyecto adelante pero por no extenderme
más os lo cuento otro día.
Do you endorse open source culture?
I think the open source culture is the next step in human evolution.
Throughout history we have gone through different forms of social
organization, always with a new better than the previous, open-source
culture will give us a true democracy and will grow exponentially
human development
Why are you interested in collaborating with us?
Currently here in Spain we have a major economic problem (only
slightly better than Greece or Italy). In my live experience I've
always tried to help people to develop and make his life easier (using
technology and learning how the mind works), but always limited by
narrow-minded companies. Two and a half ago, I tried to start my own
business, but because of the crisis and, of course, my business
experience my projects go wrong. So look for a way I can continue to
grow personally, to respect my values and get substance.
On the other hand, I think to solve the problem at its root, should be
in the way you are doing, giving people easy access to resources and
technology. Once people can do things and have to obtain resources for
themselves will not be needed capitalism and consumerism and disappear
by themselves dragging the ecological damage and culture of
obsolescence
How do you think that the GVCS can address pressing world issues?
GVCS I think is just the first step. Once proven the viability of open
source and resource-based economy it will cause a cascading effect.
Humans need not only resources to have a satisfying life. We need art,
music, social relations and ways to develop our own personality. GVCS
can not give us these things by itself and will be followed by new
ways to get this abstract things. The current Western social
organization provides access to resources (food, comfort, safety, the
latest technology) and others (art, music, fashion, recognition,
modern design) at a cost of worst life for rest of the world and the
destruction of ecology. If we can give people the same things without
leaving any comfort and facilities of the "first world", change will
be easy.
What should happen so that you become more involved with the project?
Well, just giving me a livelihood :D.
Now I only look for can do something in the correct way, increase my
personal develop, learn more about human behaviour and technology (in
lots of different ways). I think the project can give me this things
by itself so I only need some security about my future sustentation.
What is missing in the project?
I think some people can see we like technocratic hippies (like we
really are :D). To gain popularity we need increase some visual
aesthetic. Web page is visually horrible (sorry) and could construct
the buildings not only seeing it in the functional aspect, also
asethetically.
I recommend a book from Elizabeth Wilhide - ECO, about design,
interior design and decoration bio-sustainable. It have a lot of
designs and really intelligent solutions friendly with environment do
it by some achitects around the world
What are your suggestions for improvement of the project?
Well, my proposition is to expand the project to different locations
in the world. In my particular case, constructing here, in Spain, a
factory that provides the GVCS or the materials to construct they for
farms and industries.
Taking advantage of the unbeatable price of machinery costs, and
providing a site where people can see it by himself his popularity
will increase.
Furthermore, translating the documentation to Spanish and Metric
system more people will can access to it easily. Spanish is second
native speaker language in the world, behind Chinese.

. Much interest in Arduino and Android

. Domotic: 4 years working on it. Knx Partner.
. My specially is equipment testing. I was in charge of test new
installations before handing over customer.
Fabrication:
.Basic knowledge about plastic models fabrication
Energy:
. 330h formation in wind turbines, solar fotovoltaic and thermal
. Electrician
Education:
. Modern learning techniques knowledge. Can coordinate self learn
teams
. Coaching formation. Acredited Coaching Training program certified by
International Coach Federation.
Construction:
. General knowledge: paint, masonry, plumbing, woodwork, etc.
Mechanic:
. 240h Formation
. Some repairs of my own vehicles, cars and motorcycles.

Axtar...o mejor dicho Oscar!!
No se que formulario de admision hablas, pero si te quieres unir al grupo..porfavor hazlo. Pasate esta noche al TS a eso de las 10pm y alli te actualizamos de lo que hay. Estamos modificando un modelo de estatutos para hacer una Asociacion, para pedir un terreno de propiedad comunal en Millares. Como ya conoces Millares y a Jesus..mas facil es de explicarte lo que se quiere hacer, partiendo del modelo OSE, pues buscamos llevar todo esto en Millares y en mas lugares de Europa.
