Let me know your thoughts when you get a chance to look at it!

 

Emily, could you also change me to an administrator on the AdWords account for us? Says you have “Administrative access” but I only have “Standard access” and therefore cannot link our AdWords account to our analytics account.

 

Shan – Could you update all our AdWords ads to use the URL www.gearetreats.com for what shows up on the actual ad itself and then the URL http://www.geretreats.com/ for the actual link?  Additionally, as you’re in charge of watching how our clicks are going, we’re starting with a daily budget of $5.00 per day and a CPC cost of $0.01 but in the next 24 hours you notice we’re not getting any clicks feel free to up our CPC cost to $0.05 and then if still nothing up to $0.10.

Just to confirm, I'm talking for the adwords account, not the analytics account. Are you showing me as an admin for the adwords acct?

I just set it up and linked adwords and analytics, so we should be set. Sorry, I was thinking analytics account

Just to inform everybody, I start the campaign with five ad groups.
I think the keywords setting need to be further refined.
If you guys have time, please help to check the settings and adjust
them according to the record during the day.

Perfect, I just merged in the gearetreats.com Analytics into the Growing Edge Adventure's analytics account so we should be good to go. The analytics from the gearetreats.com profile is what we want to analyze, any traffic referred to growingedgeadventures.com from gearetreats.com will show up in the existing growingedgeadventures.com analytics profile. Shan, how are things looking on your end? Is our campaign online?

Several times of show up on the page, but no click today.
I think we should make some adjustment to make them more appealing to customers.

Hi. I revise some of our ad groups.
Now we have about 7 groups on the dashboard.
Based on the data of yesterday, we did have a lot of impression but
only several clicks, which made the CTR really low.
I think this indicates the fact that we have to revise our description
to attract customers to click on our website.
I make some adjustment on some of the groups. However, I found the
data go back to zero when I finish the editing.
Please feel free to make adjustment on the campaign.
I look forward to your opinions.

I notice 'burn out' gets a lot of impressions...but I see the ad could use some tweaking in the grammar. I was going to edit it, but then it tells me it will delete that ad and create a new one by doing so. Would everyone be ok with this? I just think the way it's worded now sounds kind of shady and choppy.
