Folks, Mitch and Blake have asked me to pass on information regarding the dissolution of the TCHOPZ group. I'm guessing this isn't a surprise given our lack of activity over the past several years.
As most of you no doubt know, the NMHG is very active and it seems as they are large enough that 2 homebrew groups in the area is 1 too many... So... TCHOPZ has about $400 in a bank account that needs to be used or forfeited due to inactivity. We have decided to use that money to buy a couple kegs of beer and some food and serve it at the NMHG January meeting.
The meeting will be January 13th at Aaron Spanglers house (exact location to be sent soon). There will be a tent, music, food and beer. This will be a great time to join the NMHG if you haven't already. Also, if there is money left from the TCHOPZ bank account, our plan is to put the names of TCHOPZ members who show up to the party into a hat and a name will be drawn. The winner gets a gift certificate (in the amount of money available) to UBrew for brewing supplies.
So, plan on attending the January 13th meeting. Chuck of NMHG will be sending out more details soon...
