It's time to reprint, uness someone has a big stash left over somewhere.

What changes should we make on the next printing? I'm sure there is a new Lego train to feature. Anything else that we should modify?

The most important change is the TexLUG address is texlug.COM not .org.

You may consider taking texasbrickrr.com off of the "Where can I learn more?" section, since it's also presented in a separate text box.

You can add Brick Train Depot (www.bricktraindepot.com) as a resource for fan-made instructions. I think this a better site for "serving the LEGO train community at all levels" compared to BMR. BMR is more expert-level instruction and deep dives into train topics.

You may also take out specific links/mentions of Flickr users, since it's going to be impossible to keep up to date (some of these builders have been inactive for years). Maybe just a simple suggestion to search for LEGO trains on Flickr.

The current train sets are the 60336 Freight Train (European-style electric engine) and 60337 Express Passenger Train (bullet train). Both come with starter tracks and electronics.
You can also mention 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors' Edition, which is scale-ish but more of a display model than an operable train.

Changes made except for the Hogwarts mention, which didn't fit well . . . and that set is'not really for operation, so it's not fully in our wheelhouse.

Some of those editing corrections had already been made. I suggest everybody pick up a new one for reference when we are together. I found that my own physical copy was from 2017, but we revised it in 2021, at least, and that was the file I started with when making Ed's fixes.

Next question - How many should I print? What time period do we want to allow for before it becomes significantly obsolete? This is the period that will cover the National Train Show, if they ever answer mail and let us in!

Thanks,

Okay, I'll print the standard 500.
