I sent out the attached event announcement about a month ago, but this is a wake-up call (bwahahah) to remind y'all...

Tri-Cities Rocketeers will be hosting a sport and contest launch on Saturday, June 16th, at the Sod Farm in Pasco.  Field setup will begin around 8-8:30 AM and we will be ready for contest and sport flights by 9-9:30AM.  Driving directions:

• From Pasco Hwy 12/Hwy 395 junction take Highway 395 North (towards Spokane) for 9.5 miles
• At mile marker 32 turn right on E. Sagemore Rd.
• Follow E. Sagemore Rd for 2.5 Miles (twists and turns heading east)
• Cross the canal and take an immediate left on gravel road, keep an eye peeled for Rockets signs
• Follow gravel road to Launch site. About 1 Mile north

As far as sport flying goes, this will be under Class I/FAR 101 rules; we WILL have cert paperwork on site if you want to try for a NAR Level 1 high-power certification.

The following contest events will be held, with Dave Moser will be Contest Director:

1/2A Altitude with Altimeter
A Helicopter Duration
A Parachute Duration
Streamer Spot Landing
