Hi, all,

Tri-Cities Rocketeers is sponsoring a rocket launch this coming Saturday, July 14th, from 9am til evening at the Heinen Sod Farm north of Pasco. For more information and directions, please see our website:

Here are some tips to help you have a good day:

1. We have rockets to lend, so if you don't have rockets, come anyway!
2. We have some donated motors you can use for free, and the club also has motors for sale at cost (very reasonable).
3. Please bring lots of water to drink.
4. Wear comfortable shoes suitable for field conditions (probably not flip-flops).
5. Bring camping chairs and/or canopies if you have them. People also tend to share their canopies with others.
6. Bring a sack lunch, or retreat to the nearby Country Mercantile to eat (5-10 minutes away).
7. Please bring sunscreen/sunhats, especially for small children.
8. We will have a port-a-potty onsite (courtesy of Pfister Air).
