Hi all,

This is not a super urgent question, just wanted to see if anyone has an idea.

Currently we're calling the audio content management tool ACM :) - this is not super imaginative and is rather ambiguous (Association for Computing Machinery). I was wondering if we could come up with something cooler, maybe we'll even find a word in one of our Pilot program languages. Mathias mentioned that a good example is Ubuntu: It is named after the Southern African ethical ideology Ubuntu ("humanity towards others") ... The word has its origin in the Bantu languages of southern Africa. [copied from Wikipedia].

We should gather some ideas and then vote for a nice name!

 Michael

PS: The name "AudioConverter" is rather lame too (yet, admittedly self-explanatory).

Hello all,

I agree that the current project name ACM is not quite compelling and could be replaced with a better name.

In case we want to use a word that is derived from the Ghanaian dialect Twi we can use the following Twi-English translator.

This website offers more than 13000 entries and hence allows us to have thousands of program ideas. :)

I haven't found a lot of suitable expressions yet but I wonder if the following words are ok :
- abodwee (content)
- mfaso (benefit)
- adenyinaahu (omniscience)

Cheers,
Chris
