Need your honest opinion

I'm a black male nudist and would like to visit a nudist resort in
Ohio this summer. My question is: do you feel the resorts in Ohio
would be receptive to a black person spending a few hours at the pool?

I know nudists are more open-minded and friendly than most but I would
hate to visit a resort and feel uncomfortable. Truthfully, I'd be very
nervous going to a nudist resort in southern Ohio because I see that
area to be more intolerant to black people. I could be completely
wrong but I'd love to hear your feedback. I'm going to make my
decision based on your opinions.

Thanks for your interest in naturism and in The Buckeye Naturists.
I'll try to answer your question.

The Buckeye Naturists and our sister club Have Sun Will Travel are
both quite open to all adults. We do not judge by sexual orientation,
race, etc. The only test is behavior. I suggest you visit our website
www.thebuckeyenaturists.org and check our code of ethics and code of
conduct. As long as a member or guest stays within those codes, he or
she will be welcome.

We have had black visitors before and they were just as welcome as any
other guest. Also, I know that Cedar Trails, a landed nudist resort
in SE Ohio has welcomed black guests in the past. I can't speak for
any other Ohio clubs or resorts, but have never heard of any racial
barriers or quotas, etc.

I think you will be welcome where ever you go. I hope you decide to
try one of our winter swims. The next swim is this coming Saturday,
April 3, 2010 at the Westerville JC Pool, 8 pm to 10 pm.

Please don't base your decision on my opinion as for the last two years I have not been able (due to health problems) to participate at any of the local resorts.  You might want to talk to some other members of the Buckeye Naturists.

Nudists don't discriminate. They are generally accepting of others no
matter what they look like, own, or wear. It's how a person acts and
what he says that's more important
