Dear All,
I just would like to inform you about few new things that happened around our "center". This saturday a short meeting took place between Sopo , Fanny and me-Ivana, in order to find some abandoned place or some place where our center could be physically based. It was a spotanous meeting not organized so much in advance so that's is why it was not published here before.
We went to Saburtalo cemetry district  where we visited several places but one attracted our attention. It is placed next to metro Delisi where is one cultural house that belongs to professional unions. The was a kind of space in teh basement that didn't seem to be in use and looked interesting for us. Unfortunatelly we didnt find the director but took his number in order to call him during the week. Sopo promissed to do so and will inform us what are the options and conditions. After we can decide about our following step. So all new info will be posted here.
I would like to encourage you to give any suggestion about any place you may know and that you consider suitable for our center.

ciao ciao

My darlings,

As mentioned below, I (sopho) promised to call the Director of
Professional Unions, the owner of the building where we liked the
basement. So, I did. I do not have very high opinion of the Georgian
Prof Unions and the director did not leave very good impression on me
either. He said, he would meet us to discuss the issue of the rentals
(was probably to scared to talk over the phone, cause, you know, KGB
might be listening lol).

I will still try to meet him (on the 30th, that's what he said) and
find out about the costs of the rental. There are a couple of
disadvantages in that building:

1. The basement is very cold, it will take us three times the renting
price to heat up the place, however, we don't have to worry about that
in coming summer, though...
2. There's a dirty smelly toilet right next to it. I don't think
people will want to eat anything (if we want to operate a cafe).
3. The building is a concert hall for kids, who take Georgian dance
classes, etc. Is it really appropriate place for our center?

Anyway, let's see what that guy has to say about the price and then we
can see what we're dealing with!

Kisses,
Sophie
