Hi all,

i'm looking for automated trading system and i came across TBG Quant, which seems very promising although the last commit is 2 years old. Do you know why the development stopped?

I would be interested in knowing also how much of the FIX protocol was developed since apparently the core is not open source.

Hoping for the best .. !!
Thanks,

Alex

Hello Alexander,

The development is not stopped, we continued in these years to customized it for a privata project in collaboration with OpenHedgeFund (www.openhedgefund.com) but we did not deliver anything to the public because of some licence burocracy. We will deliver a free version during this year.

We did not focus on the FIX protocol because we did not receive enough interest from our user-base, you should think at tbg-quant as a skeleton engine on which you should build your own customization and eventually your own gui front-end.

Are you interested in the FIX protocol?

Hi Alberto,

yes, for what i know many financial institutions in the US use the FIX protocol, i might also be available to make the connector using openfix or something else. In which month do you think the code will be published? this would be a great news.

I will keep on looking for the moment.
All my best coding!

Alex

Hello,
Probably before summer but we are not sure because we are heavily involved in openhedgefund startup.

I know fix is used but its quite expensive option for a private trader that's why we decided to push on Interactive brokers.

You are welcomed if u want to implement it :)

Feel free to contact me privately.
Thank you bye!
