Dear fellows,

Could anybody help me with the questions below?

Dear Sirs,

I downloaded tbg-quant last night and now I am in the "reconnaissance" phase.

I have been going through the examples provided and also trying to review each module and figure out how they go together.

I noticed that in order to download some of the historical data I am asked for "signing in".

Is signing up something that I request somewhere on the website?

On the documentation you also mention a type of "random" historical data. Is this something to be downloaded? Or perhaps something that is created on the run by the program?

I appreciate your response. Especially on the issue of "signing in".

Hi Ricardo,

To get 1 minute historical data from the bonnot gang website you just need to register to the website and download the file in CSV format.

If you are using tbg-quant you do not need to sign in in order to get any data, just use the tbgMarketDataFeed class.

If you are using tbg-quant with BogusMarketDataFeed in your trading system means that the live data you are getting are fake/random data.

If you explain us what are you trying to do maybe we can give you a better support. Write us if you need help.

Thank you
