Namo Buddhaya

A National Prayer Service by the Sangha of the 3 major Buddhist traditions to be held this Sunday as follows:

Date: 6^th April 2014, Sunday

Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 noon

Venue: Dewan San Choon, Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur

The objective of the Prayer Service is to pray and show our concern, care and loving-kindness for the passengers and crew of MH370 and their families and relatives, as well as to help the nation in this difficult time.

马航 MH370 事件，是我们每个人深切关注，且为之祈福的。
为结合各佛教团体的力量，且充分表达佛教入世关怀社会的精神，马来西亚佛教团体将在来临的星期天（4月6日）早上10点至12点，在马华三春礼堂举办一场名为“马航 MH370 牵动全世界人心，万人念诵大会”，为乘客和机组人员祈福。

The participating organisations are Malaysian Buddhist Association, Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia, Fo Guang Shan, Persatuan Penganut Agama Buddha Fo Guang Malaysia, Buddhist Maha Vihara, Buddhist Missionary Society Malaysia, Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia, Vajrayana Buddhist Council of Malaysia, Kencara and others.

All Buddhist organisations are cordially invited to send as many representatives as possible.

Kindly let us have the number of attendees for onward submission for preparation of vegetarian lunch box and drink. Do kindly provide 1 or 2 names for compilation and onward submission as Representatives to be seated at the rows reserved for VIPs in the hall. All submissions should reach the Secretariat (via email) by 1pm on Saturday 5^th April.
