TBCM : Dhamma Speaker List Compilation Project

Dear TBCM Member,

Namo Buddhaya

Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM), as part of its Action Blueprint, is embarking on a project to compile a list of Dhamma Speakers who have been offering their Services locally at your respective Associations / Centres / Society.

With this compilation and updating of its particulars by TBCM Secretariat, the list will be made available to all TBCM Members so as to ease locating a Dhamma Speaker for your planned Dhamma Programmes.

Kindly forward your list of Dhamma Speakers, monastic or lay, (preferably in Word or any word processor format) with the following additional information, if available. If your Association / Society does not organise any Dhamma Talks (hence no Dhamma Speaker List), kindly reply us stating this

If the list you have is only a hardcopy, please scan it or take a 'good' picture of each page of this list and email to us.

We understand that some Lists may not have been updated for a very long time and that the information maybe outdated.

We would still want these lists as a starting point so that we can proceed to update them.

To verify the particulars on your list, TBCM Secretariat will be contacting the Dhamma Speakers to update them and to compile additional information provided by the Dhamma Speakers.

    Bro. Ananda Fong is from Kuala Lumpur, and is a graduate from the UK. 

He was a student, facilitator and former Deputy Principal of the Buddhist Institute Sunday Dhamma School (BISDS) at the Buddhist Maha Vihara     (BMV), Brickfields, KL. 

He was also a facilitator and former Principal of Bandar Utama Buddhist Society (BUBS) Sunday Dhamma School, and BUBS's President.  

He is a facilitator in Dhamma Speakers Training Programmes, and Tutor in Certificate (Nalanda Institute) / Diploma in Buddhism (Buddhist And Pali University of Sri Lanka at BMV) programmes. 

He is currently the Director of Pustaka Nalanda, Sri Serdang, with branch Libraries at Nalanda Education and Outreach (NEO) Centres at Taman Gembira, KL; Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru; and soon to be operational, in Kedah. 

He is also the Hon.Secretary of the Theravada Buddhist Council of Malaysia (TBCM) who is a member of the Malaysian Buddhist Consultative Council (MBCC).

He gives Dhamma sharings regularly at Buddhist Societies in the Klang Valley.
