Is there a plan to help with porting add-ons that have not yet been updated to Thunderbird 78?

For example Zombie Keys (Multilanguage Keyboard)?

Dear Óvári,

I have planned it, but all I have is a little  prototype code that uses the composer API, and no time. The main problem is that it is mainly based on XBL bindings. It's also the last Add-on that holds me back from updating my own production profile to Thunderbird 78...

If you know anybody who would like to help with the conversion I would be very interested to collaborate with them.

The Thunderbird 78 branch is just a complete copy at the moment:

Hi Ovari,

I created a base version for Axel to guide him on how to get Zombie Key converted. As I have understood him, he does not plan to abandon it but just has limited time at the moment. I think it is now not a technical question. But if he runs into other technical issues, he knows he can ask me for help any time on our add-on developer community channels [1].

We do have a few very enthusiastic community members who spend their free time on porting other people's add-ons and I am very thankful for their commitment. As you can imagine, it is not easy to find more. If time permits, I step in from time to time, but my todo list is already very long.

AFAIK assistance has been available to add-on developers who seek it.  It's part of why add-on developers have had more success with version 78 than other releases of the past couple years.
