So, well, err, are we being a bit hasty?

I realize the waterclock is dripping on our pursuit of our quarry, but
it seems that our every new step brings us perilously closer to
complete annihilation at the hands of rampaging hordes of
Darkmantles. We need a new strategy. Perhaps setting fire to every
new room we encounter?

Also, does anyone know anything about, well, anything? The creatures
in the next place we are entering? I certainly have read a bit about
goblinoids in my time, but books are not always a good substitute for
the real thing ... though I do encourage all of you to pick one up now
and then.

Well, yeah, I'm gonna agree that our strategy of "run into darkness,
get our heads bagged" isn't the best one, but it's not like we're
bristling with tindertwigs here, or anything. Our fox corpse strategy
seemed to work out pretty well that one time, maybe we should just
stick with that.

An' here's all I know (other than how to make up a nice batch of
smokesticks, and to never listen to Dorgon De'Nith again): lizardmen,
kobolds, halflings, dark elves, dinosaurs, and headbags all need to
die. I don't know nothin' about goblins, other than that fightin' em
gets you thrown into prison. And, since I doubt there's some kind of
super-prison for people who kill goblins in this prison, we should be
safe.

Freakin' dinosaurs. Man, I hate those things.

I am sorry to say that my experience with the world outside the
mountains of the Adar is limited. I am gratified that my particular
combat style has seemed to work well against the creatures I have
heard termed "Head-Bags". As for a better strategy against them I do
not know what would give us an advantage. Is there a way to counteract
their unnatural darkness? The animal lure has seemed to work the best
so far. I do not have the means to create flames in the rooms, but if
you do Tirris, I would employ it.
