Another 8 weeks of Activity

It is now late November in game time
here is what has been happening.

Other than Patroling and looking for super look-a-like villains, these
are the only things I am assuming the party has been doing:
Walter- Working on Space Computer
We will have 8 weeks worth of rolls to determine
progress
Gregory- Running various errands for Mr. Miracles.
i will have some Side info for him
<Anish>- Working on lair computers.
He will find evidence of three "human enhancement
projects" but the files are password protected and there are no
details yet... we can have some dice at the start of the game to see
what type of extra progress you would have made.


Beckwith City and Chicago Happenings-

A new costumed Vigilate emerges in beckwith (see "Current Supers
of the globe" page)
The Werewolf victim remains illucid in the hospital until October
4th at which point he is found missing from his room, with his
restraines burst. (some olls in game possible)
The "impersonators gang" is tracked down by state police in a
rental storage unit makeshift lair. Britney clone is not among them.
they escape with minimal conflict.


Atlantis local happenings-

The population of atlantis expands rapidly. In addition to
homeless and crippled people that Mr. Miracles recruits, many others
request citizenship and some others are recruited. Among them being
some formost medical and electro-mechanical scientists.
Population now over 10,000.
Among new facilities opened: hydroponics farms, Hi-tech Hospital,
and some manufacture facilities. There is now a full crew of
engineers (electrical, cybernetic, and nano-tech) working in Atlantis
on the Mega-computer bank alongside Mr. Miracles who apparently never
leaves the computer despite being seen elswhere dealing with global
issues, it starts becoming known to Atlanteans that Mr. Miracles can
be multiple places simultaneously. This is not treated as a secret,
but is also not actively advertized.
Atlantis institutes a 12% consumption tax with 0% income tax.
Rate is set to be revisited in 6 months to determine if it reflects
actual operating costs of Atlantis' public works.



Atlantis dealing with the world-

It is announced that once Atlantis is recognized as a nation by
the U.N. (No official request to Join U.N) then medical visas will
start being immediatly granted, in nations which allow an antlantean
embassy, for individuals with ailments uncurable/untreatable by other
medical means. The services are not announced to be free, but that
atlantean staff would work with insurance providers, and vaious
charities around the globe to see that anyone that needs treatment
receives it.
Mr. Miracles applies for (and receives) a patent for "Selective
Gravity Manipulation" technology. The Perpetual motion generators
operate on this technology. Other items announce to be starting
manufacture in Atlantis (and later in Atlantis associated Territories)
that will be available for export to other allied countries and their
legal occupants:
-Electric Cars that run off of the perpetual motion
generators.
-Some advanced medical equipment and supplies (determined to
not be as advanced as Atlantean equipment)
-Some advanced fossile fuel extraction equipment that requires
less spces, Is less destructive, and is safer.
-Large scale conversion kits for city-sized electrical
generators (only available for lease. Atlantis retains ownership and
will handle all service and maintenance)
Other Items being announced that will not be for global export
but are advertised that will be in use in Atlantis associated
territories:
-Hover and flying vehicle technology.
-Gravity and Concussion Weapon technology
-Personal and vehicle positioning technology that is touted to
be able to find location within 6" anywhere on the planet. (curiously,
it is also noted that "Accuracy varies in off-planet locations")
-Teleport technology
The first two Communities that Mr. Miracles intends to extend his
"Social Experiment" to are announce. Conversion is said to start in 6
months. The Two Communities are:
-North Korea (largely due to the distinct need of the people to
be free of their tyrannical yoke)
-Utah (Due to the now homogenous desire to adopt this system-
more on this under "the world deals with Atlantis")
It is announced that while vehicles will be accepted for
emergency Docking/landing and maintenence and for trade and even
tourism, further attempts to land or dock without permission will be
treated as acts of agression or espionage.
Mr Miracles finishes cleaning an estimated 70% of solid, liquid,
and Gas waste from the globe. Some local governments take the
opportunity to push forth more stringent conservation laws, others see
this as an opportunity to allow "green efforts" to proceed at a less
breakneck speed, still others see this as an opportunity to increase
dumping and abandon conservation efforts.


The world deals with Atlantis-

Under the precedents set by many other smaller, self-declared
countries, the global currency markets start accepting the "Atlantean
Trade" as currency. Based on announced technologies and precious
metals backing the Atlantean economy, the Trade starts as eqivalent to
$1.50 with the currecy markets to natuarally determine the exchange
rates moving forward.
U.N. recognizes Atlantis as a nation by a narrow vote margin of
52% with 15% abstaining from the vote. Largest vocal opponets being
nations on the "short list" of possible communities for Mr. Miracles
social experiment. Some negotiations open for Embassy locations.
Trade negotiations also start.
Upon finding out that Utah will likely be converted several rabid
internal negotiations start. Utah Governance and federal governance
start tense talk about what that will mean to Utah's membership in the
Union. Words like Succession, and Civil War are bing used in some
instances. The prime sticking points being that Illegal immigrants
will not be welcome in Utah and Non-utah Residents will Not be
entitled to some of the benefits of the experiment that utah residents
are. Stronger State and federal ID programs are being considered.
Kim Jong Il releases a statement that Any invasion by Atlantean
forces will be considered an act of war and will be met with Harsh
reprisal. More footage is shown of a chinese military outpost near
the Korean border in ruins with no obvious source of the destruction.
Later some sketchy and shaky helmet video is released that shows a
human looking figure destroying a tank apparently by hand. The scene
is shrouded by a dust cloud and it is hard to retrieve details.

Some neglegted notes related to the "Global Cleanup"
Upon the request of various global environmental and news agencies,
Atlantis released a report containing some statistac about the cleanup
effort and some of its impacts.
-over 75 million pairs of shoes restored and donated to vairous
charities.
-over 50 tons of clothng retored and delivered to various charities.
-over 10000 human bodies or partial remains discovered in first world
countries and delivered to local coroners. 10's of thousands more
found in third world coutries. Some delivered to local authorities
others disposed of acording to local customs or cremated.
-over 100 tons of cigarette butts pulled from global highways and
roadsides.
-17 unkeyed species found to live primarily in various waste deposits
globally (15 undersea). Non-polluting equvalent habitats constructed
when a natural equvalent habitat did not exist (3 species)
-remains of several shipwrecks and sdonated to Departments of
antiquities of the countries that originally owned them
