(We found a store-room that has three of every mundane item from the
PHB, excluding weapons, armor, spyglasses, and alchemist's labs.
Herein, we list what we personally want to take.)

Dargon lays claim to:

Backpack
Crowbar
Hammer
Mirror, Small Steel
Pick, Miner's
Ram, Portable
Signet Ring
Soap, 1 lb
Whetstone (those bastards! Whetstones don't get an item description,
and it's not in the errata!)
Climber's Kit
Healer's Kit
Inn Stay, Good

Dargon hopes those potions of Lesser Restoration did the trick.

Rich - does this storeroom come with clothes?

Four gm notes:
Yes there are clothes. Just not the expensive clothes (royal clothes,
courtier's clothes)
There is mundane equipment from the other books as well.
There is NOT Thieving tools.
There are NOT Masterwork items.

(Awesome, this discussion just reminded me that we did determine there
was one useful thing I could do with Craft: Fleshworking for the
party: ARMOR SPIKES FOR ALL! Now if only it would not take like 20
weeks for each set.)

(Also: Does "mundane equipment from other books" include, you know,
the "unfair advantage" gear? I mean, I will gladly take [from Races
of Stone] an Earthsilk shirt for its 1/slashing dr, but I doubt it is
really what you wanted in the spirit of the room)

Tirris instantly grabs (dropping about half his Lizard Parts in the
process):
A glittering Earthsilk shirt (Races of Stone)
A bag of blasting pellets (Races of Stone)
A vial of Spiderlily Essence (Races of Stone)
A great Elven harp (Races of the Wild)
A focusing candle (Complete Adventurer)
A flash pellet (Complete Adventurer)
BASKET
A bell, to replace my bell so cruelly dismantled by Cog and taken by
the authorities
CALTROPS!
A map case for the map
Two amazing locks (do you have to pick those? Or do they come with
keys?)
A sheet of scratch paper
TEN FOOT POLE
Some Sealing Wax
Some Silk Rope, Dawg
Signal Whistle
Signet Ring
Waterskin
Smokestick
Tanglefoot Bag
Disguise Kit
Silver Holy Symbol of The Traveller
Silver Holy Symbol of Verräter (I am sure these are both there)
Three Water Clocks
Field, Suitable for Training Rams

Leave it to Drew to take it to the extreme.
(That's what I get for trying to vary the content of the module)
Allright, I'll get more specific:
No weapons,
No Armor,
No Alchemical supplies, (but some finished alchemical gear is there,
like smokesticks and sunrods)
No Masterwork equipment,
No Items made from "special materials" from any of the books.
(mithral, Starmetal, Earthsilk)
No raw alchemy equipment.
No thieves tools.
No water clocks.
No mounts or mount related gear.
In fact, No animals of any kind.
No wagons or similar vehicles.

And as a catch All: no item that individually would cost more than 50
gold.
That will likely end up removing some things that I think should
actually be there, (like the climbers kit), but that is a good cut
off.

Some of the books have some gear that might questionably fit into this
room or not. Here is a rule of thumbs to follow: If it makes a weapon
do more damage or armor protect better, it won't be there. If it
helps you maintain a weapon or armor it could be there. (For example
no Alchemical weapons capsules or quickfrost oils, but there would be
Whetstones)

Aditionally, some items are measured by length or weight. for those
items there are standard lengths or portions, not 3 "50gp lengths or
portions" IE: there are 3 50' coils of Silk Rope, not 3 250' coils.

A couple of specific questions I should address:
Yes there are:
3 spell component pouches
3 blank spellbooks
There are 3 hooded lanterns, 3 bullseye lanterns and 3 hearthfire
lanterns (and three "portions of Hearthfire refills, and three flasks
of oil.) The same for other items that are very similar like that,
like there are 3 of each of the cheaper two kinds of locks (but none
of the two more expensive ones)

Aww, way to cost me my Climber's Kit, Drew.

On the plus side:
Smokestick x2
Signet Ring
Pitons
50' Silk Rope
Grappling Hook

As much oil as I can carry, matches or flint, hammer, pitons, food
and water should be all I need for now. Tends to get hard to hop
dimensions carrying a lot of waste. So do you people know the way out
of here? House Orien will reward you for getting me out of this
hellhole, I am after all rather important. Say, what are all of you in
for anyway? Not that I care since I don't plan on staying in here for
long but the House tends to frown on my associating with murderers and
the like. Seems a bit extreme to send you here for petty larceny or
fraud so I have to assume you did something serious. Oh, right. You
are all "innocent". My mistake, won't mention it again...now where is
that exit?

Bedroll
Blanket, winter
candle x3
flint and steel
Grappling hook
Ink x3
Inkpen
Healer's kit
blank book (spellbook if no normal book)
Tindertwig x3
Rope, silk (50')
Spell component pouch

(I glanced over the list and no item seems to have gone over the three
limit.)

Rewards are great, Traveller, but we're leaving regardless. You
should understand that we can't trust you implicitly, having just met
you. If you want to prove yourself, help us stay alive.

Hey, if the prison was meant to hold you forever they wouldn't let
you just parade around I expect. Of course there is that expression
"just enough rope to hang yourself" which seems cruelly appropriate.
You want help staying alive, no problem. As long as I get equal
treatment for my efforts we have a deal...

My needs are small. A bedroll, some silk rope and and grappling hook,
A flint and steel and some sun rods. Of course I would like food as
well. I do not yet know my place with this group, what level of trust
Ive earned. But hopefully you have seen that I am a dependable
companion and ally.
