We should give some discussion towards what equipment I shall next
upgrade for the benefit of the party. Beyond weaponizing the tools,
which is a simple task for myself, all improvements are driven by
these 'nodes' that we keep coming across.
All of the weaponized tools can be improved to deal even more damage
to their targets. All of the ranged weapons can have their capacity
increased, and their reload time decreased. Additionally, a few have
individual quirks that can be improved upon.
The engineering and civilian rigs can have their defensive
capabilities upgraded, their air supplies increased, and the
effectiveness of various add-on tools improved. For example, the
kinesis beam that I added to my suit has been modified to function at
a longer range.
All of that being said, nodes are a scarce and expendable resource. I
would suggest that we improve the lethality of the weapons that we
actually know that we shall use (I am thinking, in particular, of
Stig's spinning blade device), and then focus on the defensive
capacities of the military rigs. As inane as they will likely be...
