Please see the updated program.  Please pass on to your friends and networks.

Dear  friends,

The peace process for Mindanao achieved significant progress  during the
27th Exploratory  Talks between the GPH and MILF last April 2012 with the
signing of the 10 Decision Points on Principles.  At the same time, there
remain several difficult issues and major challenges that have to be
addressed by both parties.

At this juncture, it is imperative for the different sectors in society to be
appraised of the recent developments in the peace talks.    This would
enable their participation in the search for a durable negotiated political
solution to the Bangsamoro people's  struggle for their right to
self-determination.   While various consultations and gatherings have been
held in Mindanao, we  also need more  gatherings to discuss the status of
the GPH-MILF negotiations  here  in the Metro Manila area.

The Mindanao Solidarity Network (MSN), the Mindanao Peoples’ Caucus (MPC)
and the Philippine Misereor Partners  (PMP)  are  therefore
convening a *Multi-Stakeholders’
Forum on the GPH-MILF Peace Talks on June 14, 2012, CBCP NASSA, Intramuros,
Manila from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.*   We are inviting you or your
representative to participate in the forum.  Attached is the concept paper
and draft program of the forum.

We hope you can join us for this important discussion  and  in subsequent
actions to support the peace processes during this critical yet hopeful
moment.

Sincerely yours,

Ernesto A. Anasarias Yolanda R. Esguerra
