Hi,,My husband recieved a CP2000 notice from IRS,as his former
employer has misreported an income on his tax id for the year 2006.My
husband has only worked for him from JAN 2004 to DEC 2005 and later on
he moved to another job.We talked to the employer about this, at first
he agreed to issue a letter stating the mistake, but now he doesnt
answers the call and ignore us.One more thing!! This employer files
the taxes using 1099 form for his employees....Is it right for him to
do that? We do not have any letters or correspondence from him and my
husband received checks from him for salary. Please shows us some
potential options as we dont understand what will be the best way to
handle this issue....Waiting eagerly!!!! Thanx
