Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note the additional information on point 2 and 4  :

1. We have released the new 'Generate IRN' API today with improved/relaxed validations as per suggestions.

Pl visit sandbox portal and see the details. This will not affect the existing IRN generation, which have been tested.

2. It has been observed that some tax payers are still using the 'Version' attribute in IRN schema like '1.01' ,'1.03', etc.

It is incorrect. The generation of IRN will fail if the VERSION is not passed as '1.1' as per the government notification

    from Monday.

3. We are going to use the new Document Signature Certificate from 28th Sep on the production system.

You can visit einvoice1.gst.gov.in portal and download this certificate on 28th Sep.

4. It may be noted that a couple of days back we have started prefixing 'API_'  while creation of  new API user_id on production.

This is done to distinguish the API user from the web user.  However, it is found that requests are made without  prefixing 'API_'

by the newly created users which are prefixed with API_.  Hence, they are getting 'Inactive user'  error. So please advise your

users to send the correct user-id.

If the user_id has a prefix, then send with prefix. However, the existing or old  API users (without prefix)

will continue to use the same as created, there is no change in their user_ids.
