Withdrawal of old AUTH API of e-way bill and e-invoice Portals.

Dear ASP's,

If you are getting below error code:

 NIC400: Bad Request, Upstream Server error.

Then please check weather you have done below changes or not from your side.

New Authentication APIs URLs on Production are:

E Way Bill :   https://<Prod base URL>/v1.03/auth      

E Invoice:     https://<Prod base URL>/v1.04/auth

Following old authentication APIs are withdrawn on Production.

E Way Bill : https://<Prod. base URL>/v1.03/authenticate

E Invoice : https://<Prod. base URL>/v1.03/auth

 Final Remainder 

 Below is the notification from NIC

"As you are aware, we have introduced the new API for authentication for E Way Bill with improved security.

The same was announced on the E Way Bill API developer portal in the first week of April.

 https://docs.ewaybillgst.gov.in/apidocs/release-notes.html  ----- on 05/04/2021  

 

These have been made available for testing on respective sandbox environment on the

above mentioned date and made available in production environment as follows

New Authentication APIs URLs on Production are:

 

E Way Bill :   https://<Prod base URL>/v1.03/auth       ---- published on 17/06/2021

Following old authentication API will be withdrawn shortly from Production.

 

E Way Bill : https://<Prod. base URL>/v1.03/authenticate

Some of the taxpayers are already using this new AUTH API. However, some more have to migrate.

Hence, all are requested to migrate to the new authentication API at the earliest to avoid any inconveniences.

GSPs and ERPs are requested to make sure the taxpayers migrate to the new authentication API at the earliest.

Please ignore if you have already migrated to the new authentication API".
