What are some of the possible senarios, when a house is in probate and
no one (i.e executor) pays the property taxes and the house gets sold
at a State County tax deed sale, in Michigan.
One of the siblings is the executor of the estate, an apparently
didn't pay the property taxes for some three years in a row, and the
house was then put on the tax deed sale list.
The siblings are still in probate , and the sale was last week.
The tax deed purchaser bought the property signed all the necessary
forms to apply for the quitclaim deed, which is probably in the stack
of applications waiting to be processed.
