Needingassistance with an upgrade I most likely should not have done. I have a UPS/UPS Network Management Card 2, from 2013 which is still running strong. However recently upgraded the firmware on the UPS Network Management Card 2, and now I'm getting 'No UPS Found'. As expected UPS is not available, and from the LED, says its running firmware 08.3.

I did go through and read if a downgrade is supported/recommended, and of course not. As such any assistance on how I can upgrade my UPS firmware, to match the Network Management Card version, or the reverse that would be ideal. Thank you!

I found this link very helpful. It was just what I was looking for the other day. My question is, how did you find it? I was unable to find any of the SUMX firmware files via the AP9630 download page. Is there some other way to find firmware updates for APC devices? How would one know if knew releases are available, if they don't show up on the product's firmware page?

I downloaded the executable as recommended, and attempted to upgrade the network card via the IPv4 address, and username/password using both FTP/SCP. However unfortunately I get the same errors using both methods. I do not see anything in the web gui about enabling SCP/FTP, however I do see port 21 is open/listening.

Follow up to this, I did end up getting this to update via the executable, the FTP service was not functioning, and also was logging in the the username 'device/apc'. This account by default does not have access to manage the remote network management card, and as such needed to use 'apc/apc'. Once I did this, I could log into the management card, enable SSH, on port 22, and reboot the card to enable this setting.

The ID-18 firmware is either at v9.3 or v 9.4 and the file I found them in is called "FirmwareUpdateImages v4.1.zip". Finding it on the APC is almost a crap shoot because the website seems to be not so user friendly.

To add ROMs, it's like how the Flashback Portable worked. Make a GAME folder in the root of your SD card. You may need to rename your ROMs and avoid any special characters. Both .bin and .a26 files should be recognized.

I'm using the same SD card I did with the portable. I didn't have to change the file names for the games. The console recognized them. The save slots also work with the roms in the SD card, which is really neat.

Yes, I was. Very friendly people. They couldn't replicate my problem but said they would keep looking into it. Their suggestions (rebooting console, using P2 port) didn't help. My unit may be defective and I should probably look into replacing it. Another poster on here said his friend also encountered the same problem though. Hmmm.

Your last statement is fantastic to hear, your earlier statement not so much. If at all possible, you should definitely try to do an exchange at the store. This way we can try and eliminate more possible failure points. Sorry for the inconvenience!

(BTW I was Atariboy's friend with the button issue. Mine seems to be the joystick itself, I put the the P2 stick in the P1 port and didn't have any more problems with the fire button, while plugging the P1 stick in the P2 port they still showed up playing in 2P . As I don't play 2P, I don't really care, but unfortunately, the menu function doesn't seem to work with the 1p stick in the 2p port)

As with Hyperkin, the issue was hardware support for the emulator. Apparently Stella 4.0 and up require a different confirguration. On the plus side, it sounds like there will be more compatible games with the AtGames product than then Hyperkin, so that part of it is a win!

Many thank you's to Flojomojo! Since you have not answered the question "are you the firmware fairy?", I'm going to take a guess and say it might have been someone else who didn't want to be named and gave you the file to upload. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

After reading your post this morning I decided to try playing a game using the P2 controller, and thankfully it worked properly. I played a game of Missile Command and then Pitfall and it worked perfectly. All button presses registered. I don't know why that's the case but whatever, I'm happy.

I know how to do that but if we can't have spaces then I'm going to want some other naming convention like removing extra detail. Does upper or lower case matter? Does special characters like underscores matter? Can the filenames be longer than 8 characters?

BurgerTime, Mappy, Street Fighter, Dig Dug, and their friends not enough for you? Here's the answer -- update your machine so it can load other files from the SD card, without losing the onboard games.

Thanks for the firmware. I had my legends flashback packed up and was about to return it to Walmart. I updated and threw a few random roms on an old 128meg sd card. Here are my results. I'll do some more tests later today and keep y'all updated.

I tried NES, pce, gb, & gbc for consoles. For arcade, I uploaded Pacman.as a zip file. Unfortunately, none of these showed up on the screen. But good news is the classic boomerang Genesis controller works fine, and you can use the rewind feature with it, even if it's a bit slower.

I went back after I made that video and tried several different systems with different file name extensions. The only file name extensions that would even be recognizable to show up in the SD Card menu was either .bin or .md. And only the Sega Genesis files with .bin or .md would work. I tried NES, Famicom Disc System, SNES, Atari 2600, and MAME games and I couldn't get anything to load. All I would get is this screen:

Why was the sound so god awful horrible in Aladdin in TPR's video? I don't get how nonsense like that gets past "quality control" and yes i put that in quotes for a reason because i dont believe atgames knows what that means

Not angry. Perplexed, dumbfounded, baffled, mystified. Atgames has been doing this for how many years? It's almost like they took a step backwards this year. Still nothing on those mysterious 9 series paddles yet?

You probably did this, but just to check, did you try loading MAME games as a zip file, like they would come from a typical download site? I'm also wondering if it operates like a Raspberry Pi RetroPie OS, where the NES and MAME files may need a separate folder with some specific name. I don't suppose you can see how the file system is organized on the Flashback memory, where the included games are stored. Seems odd, but maybe the Genesis roms are in a default folder, so they are the only ones that work without a specific folder location. If this is the case, it is probably something Bill would have to find out for us.
