Hello. I just recently e-filed my taxes using form 1040EZ. It was
accepted by the IRS a few days ago. However, my wife received a
1099-MISC form in the mail today for nonemployee compensation that she
had completely forgotten about. It has come to my attention, that a
1099-MISC cannot be filed with a 1040EZ, only with a standard 1040.
Would I simply need to file a 1040X amendment to rectify this? Or,
would I need to refile using the standard 1040 form? Any information
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly in advance...
