Governor Extends Eviction Moratorium
Security Deposits Can Be Used for Rent


On Thursday, May 7th, Governor Andrew Cuomo extended the eviction moratorium an additional 60 days through August 20, 2020. No eviction proceedings can begin between now and that time. Furthermore, no late fees can be charged on rent payments. 

In addition, Governor Cuomo announced that tenants can use security deposits to pay rent, but must repay the security deposit over time.

Or come up with a new rule. Nobody can buy or own a house except of his primary residence. Tenancy is illegal.

All these rules and yet New York City property taxes still going up at 6% and there's no stopping it. 

We need real counsil people not puppets. 

Everyone please run for city council it's really easy we can flood the process with people.
