REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES

Dear Members,
Director of Income-tax (Vigilance), Western Region, Mumbai, having charge over the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, has invited The Chamber of Tax Consultants to ascertain the corruption issues faced by our member while interacting with the officials and officers of the departments of various levels. This is in Continuation of the meetings held earlier. He has not only assured prompt action but has also assured full confidentiality. We, the professionals, should use this opportunity and should do our best by lending our help and support to such endeavour to control such menace.
We invite descriptive feedback, information and suggestions from the members in this regard latest by 5th February 2015. Members are requested to send details of the incidents, involving corrupt practice preferably with name/designation of the officer, along with actual incident. We assure that full confidentiality shall be maintained. Alternatively, the aggrieved professional/Client–assessee may directly meet the Director of Income-tax (Vigilance) personally at his office at Room no. 337, Aayakar Bhavan, M. K. Road, Mumbai-400 020.
