I have recently built an Eladrin Rogue, and I did it the old fashioned
way, pen and paper, as a way to help learn this new (4e) process.

Then I went to move the character to HF, and even using the 1.2b
version, could not find a feats that is in the book noted in the title
of this post.

First, from Player's Handbook 2, on page 187, is "Melee Training".
I can't seem to find that in the spreadsheet, is it intentionally left
out? Or has PHB2 not yet been incorporated into the spreadsheet?

Also, I found a feat in another location but can't find the book its
in, called "Longsword Finesse" which lets a longsword be wielded as a
light weapon. Again, I can't find the book it came out of, but will
that feat also be eventually incorporated in this spreadsheet?

John,

Currently v1.2 only supports The Player's Handbook and The Forgotten
Realms Player's Guide

I am stuck in the middle of incorporating Martial Power, and after
that Player's Handbook 2 will be tackled.

However I should note that between school and work I have been swamped
so progress has come to a standstill.

If school work lightens up over the summer I should be able to resume
work on them.

Hi John,
first of all, great job. I like your sheet.
I started to implement stuff from Handbook II (Invoker and Deva), but
I ran into one problem:
I cannot reset the dropdown fields.

(I used the slots from the Warlord and that one only comes with 4
Powers, but I need to show 5).

The system is in some parts setup so that I can easily add stuff, but
in some cases, this gets really hard.

Can you tell me how to reset the dropdowns?

Dink, Welcome to my world :)

No the sheet - even for me - is not easy to manipulate due to the ever
changing rules thrown out by WOTC.

Honestly, even if you were sitting by me it would take quite some time
to show you how I got to this point in the sheet.

Some questions for you:
Have you unhidden all of the worksheets? There is one in there that
controls the drop-down lists. Are you familiar with how to find the
specific list? Do you know how to expand the contents of a list?

You used the slots for the warlord? Please be specific as to which
list you are speaking of, on which worksheet, and if possible the cell
address (A2 or CF264, etc.)

I didn't really setup the system to add your own stuff outside the
contents of the two books that are in version 1.2.0, mainly because
the variables to consider were too many for me to think of.

to modify the drop down do a search in the help of Excel for "list"
creation, or modification. Also realize, if you delete any items, the
effects will ripple through the sheet on things that may no longer
calculate properly. And if you simply add to the list, you will need
to find all the areas throughout the system that depend on that cell
contents.

I hope that points you in the right direction.

Hi Tavecosh,

thanks for the quick answer.
I answered my self right under your comments

I found all the content (except if something is veryhidden).
I expanded for example the cells to add some features in the Feature
Tab (between "J" and "BM".
In some cases I changed the automatic formatting so that I can add the
Invoker (Changes in CLASSES, CLASS_POWERS [add new Powers], ARRAYS
[for Weapons], PullDown Lists [special choices of the class], FEATS)

Ahhh found it. You set a name to the list WarlordAtWillPowers.
Using the NameManager I changed it. Thanks a lot

I already saw that you sometimes do not use the Names and instead use
Ranges. But that is fine. I think I got it now

Now I am able to set a complete Class and Race.

Again - great job - Thanks
